Here is some information for boatowners attending the Maidstone River Festival.

Mooring Mooring
The best place for mooring is between the Lockmeadow Millennium Bridge and the high level railway bridge. Click here to see a map of that area.
Riverside Facilities Riverside Facilities
There is a supermarket and newsagents close by. The main town centre is a minute from the riverside. The riverside toilets will be reopened for the 2010 River Festival between Monday 25 July and Monday 2 August. A fresh water tap is available. Sluice facilities will be accessible.
Shopping Shopping
If you need some retail therapy, Maidstone's the place for you. Maidstone is the County Town of Kent and boasts more than 700 shops, two major shopping centres, a boutique style arcade, over 75 cafes and fine restaurants, a cinema, a museum and a theatre. Maidstone Millennium River Park is situated along the banks of the River Medway between Teston and Allington. No visit to Maidstone is complete without a walk along the Maidstone Millennium River Park, opened in 2001. This brilliant park along the banks of the River Medway was created by the people of Maidstone with support from the Millennium Commission, and includes 10km of easily accessible paths and three new footbridges.
